Compound Your Relationships

I am a big believer in the concept of “compound interest”.

It’s something I think a lot about, in different contexts.

Maybe it’s a natural process of getting older.

I increasingly like the idea of “compounding my relationships”.

Instead of constantly meeting new people, focus on your existing network.

Instead of making new friends, focus on your existing friends.

Building relationships and developing trust takes a long time.

Why not take advantage of the connections you already have?

These days, I enjoy it much more to see people I have known for 5-10+ years, instead of meeting new people.

Going deeper instead of wider.

Here’s today’s idea: Compound your existing relationships.
