My favorite moments of the 2010s

Recently I wrote down my personal memories of the 2010s, the good and the challenging. And what I learned from it.

I added an exercise I learned from Psycho-Cybernetics: “re-live past successes and positive experiences” (which helps to visualize and manifest similar things in the future)

So I scrolled through my Facebook photos (which was surprisingly helpful, thanks to its curated nature) and re-lived some positive memories.

Note: This post is highly curated by design. This in no way presents an accurate image of my life. I experienced my fair share of suffering and hardships – like everyone does – but that’s not the point here. Putting this post together helps me to re-live these moments in a deeper way, while hopefully inspiring you to do the same.

Found this message on my trip to Canada’s Rocky Mountains. It spoke to me.
I started walking more, a great opportunity to spend time with audiobooks.
Beautiful wellness weekend in Scuol.
Completed my first Strongman Run in Engelberg.
Rented a Tesla Model S for a weekend. This converted me from skeptic to fanboy.
Each November, I do the Basel City Run, a 5.5 km race just for fun. Here with my friend Fabian.
I practiced the “Simplify my Life” principle and got rid of several loads of old stuff. Love the feeling of an empty transporter after the job is done.
Random bucket list item. Always wanted to visit my namesake town. (Unfortunately just a drive-through.)
Meditated on stage in front of 1000 people with Loic Le Meur.
Made a new friend on my walks.
Completed my first half marathon. It was a significant psychological win and helped me exit a challenging time.
Organized a street retreat and donated the proceeds to local homeless organizations.
Love the feeling of being barefoot in nature. Some of the most simple things are the most enjoyable in life.
