Dear barbers, I’m sorry, I won’t come back anytime soon.
A while ago, I started cutting my own hair. Then during lockdown, this new habit suddenly became even more useful.
First, I purchased the Hatteker Hair Trimmer 3-in-1: An excellent hair and beard trimmer. It’s cordless, waterproof, and the rechargable batteries are replaceable.
Then, I learned how to do it. There are many such videos, so choose one depending on your preferences.
Finally I hop into the shower, and voilà, I’m done. The whole process takes 15 to 20 minutes.
It’s a win-win situation: It’s a creative process, and I save time & money.
Won’t this make a mess?
Not really. Take off your clothes, and let the hair fall to the ground. After you’re done, you simply clean it up with a broom, and vacuum the rest.
What about the back side?
I do it myself, standing between two mirrors in the bathroom. It’s not perfect every time, but I don’t care. Actually, my skills are improving each time, and I find it rewarding to do it all by myself. If you’re not comfortable with that, ask someone to help you.
